New Video!

I'm staying in third in the Jim Beam contest, and getting votes as much as the other top two, so their lead is staying the same. Today I'm posting a new video of a contest I'm in, but don't forget about the Jim Beam one too, I need your votes!

This contest is for careerbuilder.com and they pick the finalists in a couple weeks. If I have a bunch of ratings then it will make my video look better. BUT, one of my competitors has like 8,000 subscribers on youtube which they will all vote for his and give mine a bad rating, like they've already done. Search itsprobablytime.com on youtube to see the competition. The one with 4,000+ views right now is the guy with all the subscribers.

Right now I'm exactly 101 votes to be in first! But now my video displays in the top three on the right side of the website so it will be easier for people to find and watch it.

Anyone else pumped the market is up today? I just hope Obabma's speech doesn't leave everyone running for the bank and end this little upswing we've had today.

Just checked in on the Jim Beam website and noticed the video in first with 202 votes in 4 days I mentioned in my earlier post today has been removed!

Must have been cheating! Now I'm in fourth with 78 votes! 5 more and I'm in third!

Over the weekend, a new video took first place and I moved DOWN from 5th to 6th!

The new video in first garnered 202 votes in 4 days, I've gotten 74 votes in one week!

If theres any one near the Chattanooga area looking for a cool climbing gym, or just something fun to try out, I've started going to Urban Rocks Gym. You can top out the boulder problems and the top-roped climbs are about 35' tall, it's one of the better gyms I've been to. The only other gym I've been to that you can top out boulder problems is The Spot in Boulder, Colorado.

Harnesses FOR SALE

Okay, I'm selling two lightly-used harnesses. One's too big for me and the other's too small. Below are pictures and descriptions. Contact me at lucasridley at gmail dot c o m.


First the Moyes Matrix:
The size is: Shoulder height=145cm, chest=97cm, hips=103cm
It's just a little too big for me. I'm asking $800 (new its twice that). I just put in $180 in it to get different leg loops, but that didn't work out (see below).



I had separate leg loops made that had their own buckles, but that hung me too low in the harness. The original setup is still there too: having the leg loops come up between your legs and loop through the waist buckle:

Now for the AEROS Viper:
I've been flying in this one for about 8 months and its just too small for me in the hips. Everwhere else its snug, but the hips are too small. I have about 36 inch hips and its made for someone with 34 inch hips (I'm 5'8 and my chest is about 35.5"). Other than that I love this harness, it has a butt plate that is easy and quick to use, holds two chutes, and neoprene shoulders to tuck in your elbows for clean flying. I'm asking $600 (new is like 3 times that).

The first one may be my most favorite photo I've ever taken, because to me it says: "'DO NOT ENTER' the corporate world" as if the do not enter sign itself was subjected to some torture from the way it looks.

Update

I'm going to get a very short (probably :45 sec) video together of the few shots I got while skiing and post them to the blog in the next day or so. Been sick and slackin on things - it has been flyable and missed out on the good weather the last few days.

Already planning on attending the Flytec Rally meet and hope to get a bunch of good vid from that. It's going to be a moving comp that will start at Florida Ridge and end at LMFP - I'm going to be able to fly my wing home from Florida (I hope)!

Eric did some loops on his birthday saturday and has an awesome video of them I will post here when he's done with it.
